The G-series subsoil cultivators can work up to 65 centimeters deep, destroying the plough pan. The frame and all load-carrying elements are made of special Strenx® 700 steel, which enables the machine to withstand heavy loads and extend the service life of the subsoil cultivator. The entire structure is assembled exclusively using bolted joints, which is completely unusual for agricultural machines of this type. This increases the stability of the frame under dynamic loads, which provides flexibility during operation and makes the frame less susceptible to fatigue breakdown than a welded-structure frame. A rear double star-wheeled roller with a diameter of 220 mm is an integral part of a subsoil cultivator’s design. It destroys surface lumps, compacts the soil and controls the depth. Retrofitting the subsoil cultivator for mineral fertilizer application is available to order as an option.

Model G subsoil cultivators that are equipped with 5, 7 or 9 stands can be retrofitted with a local dry fertilizer distribution system. In one pass, it is possible to both cultivate the soil and to accurately apply fertilizers on different depths, depending on the tool settings. This makes it possible to fertilize in such a way that during plant growth, the roots meet nutrients deep in soil, thus creating optimal conditions for better growth and increasing crop yields.

Basic cultivation with the Ecolotiger 535 disc-sweep subsoil cultivator that has operating width of 3.8 m allows for grinding the compacted layer and forming a more open soil structure (proper cultivation) to improve water absorption, infiltration and percolation. This makes it possible to increase crop yields in both rainy and dry years. In excessively humid weather, proper basic cultivation of the soil makes it possible to divert excess water. Moreover, the soil opens up as a result of proper cultivation, which increases its water-retaining capacity, so in dry years there is more moisture available to the roots in the soil. Proper basic cultivation forms a high-quality arable layer by processing crop residues and eliminating soil compaction. As a result, the soil regains its ideal composition: 40-50% of mineral substances, 20-30% of water, 20-30% of air (pore space) and 1-5% of organic substances.
